Skincare Sunday: Tatcha

Hey y’all,

I recently dabbled in some Tatcha skincare and here are my thoughts on the products I tried!

Whenever I try out new products, I always try to get a set with smaller versions and more products. Tatcha has a bestsellers set that retails at Sephora for US$60.00. It comes with:

  1. Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil
  2. Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder
  3. The Water Cream
  4. Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

Out of this entire set, I only like one product. The Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is absolutely beautiful. I could only use it a few times before I had the weird allergic reaction with my eyes but both times it made my makeup stay in place and gave me this beautiful, luminous, dewy, glow-y look. Will definitely get a full size when I finish.

Now for the products I didn’t like:

1. Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

I don’t think that this cleansing oil actually takes off any makeup. It’s supposed to be used at night but it doesn’t really do anything for my skin. I would go in with a second cleanser to remove what was on my face.

2. Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder

Every time I used this powder (which is supposed to be an exfoliant) just breaks my face out and causes my skin to have even more problems then before. I do not recommend this powder whatsoever.

3. The Water Cream

I know that this is a lot of people’s holy grail moisturizer but it just made my face super oily. It literally added nothing to my skin and I stopped using it after a few times.

How do y’all feel about Tacha products? Super over hyped or really good quality for your money?

Let me know!

Xoxo,

E
