Kat Von D – 10 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette

Hey y’all,

I recently picked up the Kat Von D 10 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow palette because the colors tempted me so much. Below is my review!

This palette is limited edition!

We all know I’m a sucker for eyeshadows but this palette was calling my name. It has a good mix of warm colors, a few shimmers and some blues and greens. I have never tried a Kat Von D eyeshadow palette but have heard only good things for the Shimmer and Light.

This palette is pigmented, but there isn’t a lot of fallout. Which is really good because there is only a tiny bit of space in between the shadow pans. The lighter shadows are easier to blend together, the red, grey, oranges and white. The darker shades easy to use but you have to pack them on because if you blend them too much they disappear on the eyes sadly.

The shimmers are incredible though, I just use a little concealer as a base and they POP. I haven’t tried wetting them yet (I have run out of Mac Fix Plus) but when I do, I cannot wait for the sparkle. If you go to my instagram in the Green Series Highlights, you can see how wonderful the emerald green is. Yesterday, I used the gold and it blew my mind about how gorgeous it was.

I love the full sized mirror in the palette, but it does make the palette a bit heavier, along with the gold trim. The packaging of the palette is sooo pretty, I just wish it had the color names under the shadows rather than on the back. IMG_3727.JPG

Have any of y’all picked up the palette yet? What are your thoughts, will you get it before Sephora runs out or wait for another palette release from Kat Von D?

Xoxo,

E

  1. I only started using KVD products a few months ago and I am in love – I was fed up of spending ages looking around trying to find Cruelty Free products so bought the Tattoo Liner on a whim as I was in a rush, and wow I am impressed. The colours in that palette all look like colours I would actually wear… looks like I know what I am buying on payday.
