May/June Favorites!

Hey y’all

So it’s been a while since I’ve written a post and I’ve been working on this for a bit. I’m combining the past two months because of ~*one*~ eyeshadow palette which was released in June.

Below are my list of favorites for the past two months!

Eyes:

  1. Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette – US$35.00

If you have been following my instagram you would’ve seen I’ve been giving lots of love to the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette. I didn’t acquire it till recently and I can’t believe it took me almost a year to get it. The colors are absolutely fantastic, there is every neutral color in this palette and gorgeous selection of reds, bronzes, golds, shimmers and three blues that are to diiiie for. If you’re near a morphe store or Ulta, I highly recommend you pick it up. You will not be disappointed.

2. Kat Von D 10 Year Anniversary Palette – US$52.00

I have a few Kat Von D products, and they have been hit or miss for me. I adore her creme contour palette and her setting spray but the powder fell short for me. However, this eyeshadow palette is absolutely gorgeous. There is hardly any fall out but the palette is still creamy/pigmented and blends really well. The green is by far my favorite color in the palette, I’m always pretty weary of greens but this one packs a punch and looks wonderful. If you can get your hands on it, I would suggest that you do!

*Any suggestions for a new black eyeliner?? I’m almost out of my Tarte Gel one and would like a really good felt tip liner.

Eyebrows

  1. Anastasia Brow Wiz – US$23.00

Do I really need to say more? This brow wiz is fantastic, I’ve repurchased it twice and I do not think I could ever switch to a different brand.

Face

  1. Lancome Skin Feels Good – US$32.00

This foundation is BEAUTIFUL. It truly is a your-skin-but-better product and it has SPF 23, so if you are someone like me who frequently forgets SPF, this foundation is for you. It has a bit of a dewy finish but it is still very natural and the smell is amazing. The only issue I have is that the shade range is pretty limited, hopefully they’ll come out with more shades soon so everyone can experience this amazing creation. (Read a full review)

*I don’t have a concealer recommendation, if anyone knows a good one please leave it in the comments!

2. Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter – US$44.00

When this product came out, I told myself that I could not get it. I always have an issue with liquid highlights and then are more work than payoff. But after watching Samantha Ravndahl try on the Marc Jacobs Summer Line I was convinced to buy it. I might actually be heading back to Sephora to get the Coconut bronzer (even though I have the other bronzer, which will be mentioned shortly) and the eyeshadow palette (surprise, surprise). This highlight applies like a DREAM and blends into your foundation really well. The pay-off is amazing, I always get so many compliments and I never have to layer a powder highlighter over it.

*I also don’t have a powder recommendation, any thoughts? Laura Mercier doesn’t really work for me…

3. Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Tan – US$49.00

I am not a big bronzer person, I much prefer a contour but this bronzer has converted me. I love this product so much, it really is the perfect tan. I know there is the coconut one and I honestly might go purchase that…even though I’m not clear about what the difference is… this bronzer is JUST THAT GOOD.

*I don’t have a blush recommendation either haha. Any thoughts? Nars Orgasm: Yay or Nay?

4. Anastasia x Amrezy Highlighter – Can’t remember

I couldn’t find this highlighter on Sephora and I know it was limited edition so it might’ve been taken down. If you already own it, you know how gorgeous this highlighter is and how it really pulls together any look.

5. CoverFx Matte Setting Spray – US$31.00

I cannot believe it took me so long to finally bite the bullet and purchase this setting spray. I had been using different ones from the drugstore (NYX, CoverGirl…etc) and they had been good but nothing extra ordinary. I also tried the Urban Decay De-Slick (review to come) but *spoiler* didn’t think much of it. This setting spray however is the BOMB DOT COM.

This is my list of May/June Favorites! Let me know what your favorite products are, or if you have any suggestions for me!!

Xoxo,

E
