Skincare – Boscia

Hey guys!

I️ know this post was accidentally published a really long time ago and it was blank…whoops. This brand has been around for a while but I️ have been testing out some of their products with my uber-sensitive skin and below is my review!

A while ago, Boscia came out with a little kit for $42. I couldn’t find it again but I decided to review all the products.

Detoxifying Black Charcoal Cleanser  – US$10

This is one of my all time favorite cleansers. It lathers so easily, and it really gets into all my pores to clean out the huge amount of makeup that gets in during the day. It doesn’t have a smell to it, but it has a nice texture when you rub it into your skin. I found that I would have a pimple on my face one day and after using this cleanser once in the morning and once in the evening, it would be less red and deflated and the next day, bam. Gone. It really helped with my uneven texture, and oiliness, like the product promises. I recommend this cleanser to all of my friends I love it so much. If you’re going to try it out, get the 1.7 oz one for US$10. It lasted me four months, using it pretty much twice a day, every day.

Revitalizing Black Charcoal Hydration Gel – $40.00

This is a cooling gel (I did not know that the first time I used it and was surprised at the feeling) that helps refine your pores with the benefits of charcoal. I like it in the evening when I am going to bed to use as a light moisturizer. But, its nothing great so if you don’t have it I really would not bother with it. Best to get this as a tester if you’re interested!

White Charcoal Mattifying MakeUp Setting Spray – US$12

I really liked this setting spray. I’m not a fan of matte setting sprays, since my foundation is usually matte I go for something slightly dewy so I don’t look too flat. But this spray is so nice, and the spray head helps give a beautiful mist. The only issue with it is that you HAVE to remember to shake it well before you use it, otherwise you could end up with little white flecks on your face. But when I run out of this setting spray, I will definitely be repurchasing it.

Luminizing Black Charcoal Mask – US$34

This was an interesting. I have never used a poor peel before, I don’t think that they do much for my skin at all. This was a decent one but again, nothing that I really thought was revolutionary with my skin. However, I do have a friend who absolutely loves this peel so for any peel enthusiast out there…give it a try!

The BOSCIA website has the set on sale right now, in case any of y’all are interested. I’ve linked the everything to the Sephora website. Screen Shot 2018-01-09 at 5.42.24 PM.png
