I have recently been on a glitter and glow kick, especially for the eyes. I’ve been using the Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow and the Natasha Denona Chroma Crystal Top Coat a lot over my matte eyeshadow and decided to give it a review!
The Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow retails for about US$24. These eyeshadows are great for anyone who adores glitter but doesn’t enjoy the clean-up. These shadows give off so much with so little, you can just pat them on your eye with the applicator, or brush. These glitters are so sparkly, if you have the kira-kira app, it would go insane with shine.
They are also super versatile, I’ve used some of liquid glitter as an eyeliner over my black top liner.
The ND Chroma Crystal Top coat is also gorgeous. It is not as glittery and sparkly as the Stila eyeshadows, and I don’t think you can really use this as a liner but ND says that it can be used on your bare lids, on eyeshadow or on top of lipstick. I’ve only used it on eyeshadows and it has added a very beautiful, subtle shimmer to the red base I put down.
You definitely have to use your finger with it, which is less than ideal when you are paying US$28. If you’re looking for something subtle but still shimmery, I would recommend ND. It is amazing quality and looks stunning on your lids.

Personally, I do not think that your makeup collection loosing any value without having either of these products in it. These two are really just fun add ons to your collection, or if you’re an “eyes” type of a gal like me, they are really fun to play with and try new things with.
