Purple & Gold – Tarte Clay Mask

Hey guys, how are you?

Today’s review is going to be about Tarte’s Tight & Bright Clay Multi-Mask. With the crazy summer heat, I’ve been testing out a lot of different skin care options and my favorite so far has been this mask!

This mask feels amazing on the skin. I tried a few sheet masks, and creams for my combination skin but nothing really helped my skin. So I decided to take the plunge and try out the clay mask. I’m not an expert with clay masks, but I did love this product the minute it touched my skin.

I applied the purple side to my T-Zone and any place on my face where I am prone to breakouts or any blemishes I had, as well as any dry areas. It goes on a little thick and will get under your nails, so be warned! It also does have a bit of a smell too but once its on your face you cannot smell it at all. I put the gold product under my eyes and on my cheeks and any part that wasn’t covered by the purple side.

The box said to let it sit for 10-20 minutes, and I did 15. When I was washing it off, the purple came off right away but the gold did struggle to stay on. I didn’t put anything on after the mask, just left my face bare and went to bed.

When I woke up in the morning, I could see instant results. The dullness and dryness was gone and my skin felt amazing! It felt hydrated and I could already see the reduced redness and the even-ness of my skin. The clay mask did not dry out my skin even more which I was worried about.

I was very pleased with my results, I did the mask again the next night and woke up to the redness completely diluted and the blemished almost gone. I really, really do enjoy this product.

The packaging is also adorable, the top is a groovy purple swirl and inside there is a separator between the purple and gold with a nice white lid. Screen Shot 2017-07-26 at 8.41.03 PM

The container itself is pretty big, I’m not sure how I will travel with it but it is worth adding to my travel bag.

The mask cost US$40 and you can get it at Sephora (which is where I get all my high end beauty products).

I really think this mask was worth it, if you’ve tried it please let me know in the comments! I’d love to know about your experiences too.

I hope you guys have a great day!
